Kelly & Jerrit - Mennello Museum

Some couples remind you exactly why you love what you do, and Kelly & Jerrit are those people for me.

Their love story may have started with a swipe on Tinder, but what they have is the kind of love that makes you believe in finding your person. I have genuinely never seen two people love each other so much. The way they look at each other, the little moments they share, and the happiness they find just being together make it so obvious how special their connection is. Their love is real, genuine, and effortless to witness.

Their wedding day at the beautiful Mennello Museum of American Art was nothing short of special. From a morning spent getting ready with their favorite people to a sweet first look and private vows, every part of the day felt intentional. One especially sweet detail was having Kelly's sister, Devyn of Devyn Jay Artistry, do her makeup. There's something so meaningful about having the people closest to you play such a special role in your wedding day.

Dreah Photography did such a beautiful job capturing the day, from the quiet getting-ready moments to the emotional ceremony and all the little in-between memories. Kelly walked down the aisle to a piano and cello rendition of Can't Help Falling in Love, and surrounded by their closest family and friends, the two exchanged vows and officially began their next chapter together.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour, heartfelt speeches, and a champagne tower before heading into the reception. Between their choreographed first dance, emotional parent dances, and an incredible dinner from Cuisiniers, the evening was filled with so many special moments. Silk Audible kept the energy going all night, making sure the dance floor stayed full and the celebration never missed a beat. Beautiful florals from Country Club Flower Shop and rentals from iRentEverything helped bring the entire vision together.

What made this wedding truly unforgettable, though, was the love that surrounded them. Their families were just as sweet as they were, and you could feel how much everyone wanted to celebrate these two. There is something so special about a wedding where the love doesn't just come from the couple, but from every person in the room.

And Kelly? An absolute DREAM to work with. From start to finish, she was such a joy, and getting to be a part of such an important chapter in her and Jerrit's lives was something I won't forget. As a wedding planner, you get to meet so many amazing couples, but every once in a while, you meet people who make your job feel even more meaningful. Kelly and Jerrit were exactly that.

Their day was such a beautiful reminder that weddings are about so much more than the details. They're about the person standing across from you, the people who love you, and the beginning of a life together.

Kelly & Jerrit, thank you for letting me be a small part of your love story. I hope you always look at each other the way you did on your wedding day and never lose that kind of love. You two are something special, and I couldn't be happier for you! 🤍
