Dominique & Joe - Ever After Farms

Some couples come into your life as clients and somehow leave as friends — and that’s exactly what happened with Dominique and Joe. They originally found me through The Knot, and from our very first conversation, I knew their day was going to be something special. What I didn’t expect was how close we’d become along the way. By the time their wedding arrived, it truly felt like I was celebrating with friends, not just working a wedding.

Their wedding day on December 13th at Ever After Farms was full of personality, laughter, and moments that felt so them. Ever After Farms was the perfect backdrop — rustic, romantic, and full of charm. From the oak trees to the horses, every corner of the venue gave us the most beautiful setting.

One of my favorite moments of the entire day (and honestly one I’ll never forget) was their flower girl making her entrance in a pink Jeep, literally driving down the aisle while flowers flew out of the back. It was iconic, adorable, and had everyone smiling before the ceremony even began.

They were lucky enough to have Yolanda Hill Photography capturing the day — a photographer I absolutely love and will always recommend. Yolanda has a way of documenting weddings so authentically, and the images she captured of Dominique and Joe — especially with the horses at Ever After Farms — were nothing short of magical. Those photos alone felt like they belonged in a magazine.

For dinner, they kept things fun and true to themselves with Texas Roadhouse catering, and honestly? It was a hit. Nothing like good comfort food, rolls, and butter to keep guests happy and dancing all night. Speaking of dancing — the reception turned into a full-on party with line dancing, laughter, and so much joy on the dance floor.

Their vendor team was incredible all around. Ever After Farms was amazing as always, and Double Down Bartending Services kept drinks flowing and the energy high all night long.

The best part? After all the celebrating, Dominique and Joe packed up and left the very next day for their honeymoon in Tennessee, starting their married life with an adventure.

Dominique and Joe’s wedding wasn’t just beautiful — it was genuine, fun, and full of heart. The kind of day that reminds me why I love what I do. Getting to witness two people who are so clearly in love, surrounded by their favorite people, is always an honor. But getting to do it for friends? That’s something truly special.
